The riding
Rocky, loose, gravelly high-alpine ski-piste terrain; hardpack singletrack lower down; wooded XC at Fuente Alta.
High-mountain rocky, loose terrain at altitude on former ski pistes; open alpine exposure, thin air above 2,500 m, no tree cover on upper circuits.
Signposted, graded circuits (rutas senalizadas) operated by the resort like a piste map; Trailforks coverage for GPS backup.
Moderate - low Trailforks ridelog counts suggest quiet trails midweek versus busier lift-served weekends and event days.

Summer lift operation for 2026 published as approx 11 July to 23 August (Cetursa); prior years ran broader (approx late June to early September). Confirm annually.

Getting there & gear
Lift access via summer pass; adult round-trip on Telecabina Borreguiles + Telesilla Veleta approx EUR 21 (2026). Learn-to-ride packages from approx EUR 59. No lottery.
Permits and operators change - confirm before booking.
By car via A-395, exit at km 31 (Pradollano), approx 31 km from Granada (approx 45 min). Large covered car park plus open-air lots; free parking in summer.
Lift uplift only (Borreguiles telecabina + Veleta chairlift + carpet lift). Public bus (Autocares Tocina) and taxis serve Pradollano from Granada in season.
Full-face recommended on DH lines; base has food/water/services; mobile coverage generally available at Pradollano/Borreguiles. Bring sun protection and layers for altitude.
Resort base with bike rental, protective-gear rental, bike school, restaurants/bars, swimming pool, toilets, medical/first-aid; webcams online.
