The riding

Getting there & gear
DirtBoy track on private plantation land, historically free (owner Tavee Songmuang granted access); operator tours paid per booking. VERIFY current access status.
Permits and operators change - confirm before booking.
DirtBoy: Soi Phatthana Uthit 1 off Cape Panwa road (4023), approx 900 m past Ban Ao Nam Bo School, approx 7.5 km south of Phuket Town; limited parking for a few cars near start, no shops nearby.
Operators provide vehicle transfers and support vans; DirtBoy DH lappable without shuttle (short hilltop section). Uplift for full DH runs is self-arranged. VERIFY.
Bring own water/snacks (no shop at DH trailhead); mobile coverage generally good across Phuket; full DH bike and safety kit for the DH track
