Easy/beginner (Alptrail-Lehrpfad), medium/S2 (Old T-Bar), difficult/S3 (Der Mutz); plus the Weryhorny race track. Green/blue/black equivalent.
Group split at the top of the chairlift: beginners/families take the Alptrail-Lehrpfad, kids' tracks and skills park; intermediates ride Old T-Bar; advanced/expert riders take Der Mutz or the Weryhorny race line. All share the same chairlift uplift.
Strong group fit - the Alptrail teaching path, kids' tracks, pump tracks and a skills park suit beginners and families, while Der Mutz and the race track suit experts. Chairlift uplift removes the need to climb.
The riding
Machine-built and natural forest/alpine-pasture singletrack with berms, wall-rides, jumps, drops, roots and stone passages; surfaces range from flowy hardpack to steep technical.
Der Mutz has steep berms, wall-rides, jumps and drops (S3); Old T-Bar is continuously rollable S2; Alptrail is a gentle skills path. Exposure is low - forested/alpine-pasture park terrain.
Signposted bikepark with named, difficulty-graded trails from the chairlift; low navigation burden. Trailforks region map available.
A smaller, less-crowded park than the big Swiss destinations; can be busy on fine summer weekends and during race events but generally quiet midweek. (est)
Season & conditions
2026 operating season early April to 15 November (spring, pre-, high- and late-season timetables per operator).
Summer to early autumn. Higher, drier trail conditions typically late June through September.
Weryhorny race track has hosted iXS Swiss Downhill Cup and Swiss Downhill Championship rounds; the Alptrail is billed as Switzerland's first downhill 'teaching' trail.
Alpine mountain weather - afternoon thunderstorms, rain making rooty/steep sections slick, and possible lift wind holds. Shoulder-season cold/wet.
Getting there & gear
Bikepark day pass required (approx CHF 43 adult, 2026); no lottery/permit system. Children 6-15 pay their age in CHF.
Permits and operators change - confirm before booking.
Valley station at Riedli 15, 3756 Zwischenfluh in the Diemtigtal; road access with parking. Nearest hubs are Oey-Diemtigen / Spiez.
6-person detachable chairlift (built 2007) Riedli-Nueegg provides bike uplift; day pass approx CHF 43 adult (chairlift included), CHF 38 youth/senior in 2026.
Full-face helmet and protective gear recommended for the DH lines; food/water at valley and mountain stations. Mobile coverage generally adequate in the valley. (est)
Bike wash stations, showers, hair dryers, restrooms and camping at the base; Berghotel Wiriehorn with sun terrace at the mountain station.

Hazards & rescue
Steep berms, jumps and drops on Der Mutz (S3); rider-caused injury is the main risk. Wet roots/rocks reduce grip; wear protection.
None required; self-guided park riding. Guiding/coaching not mandatory.
Chairlift service road and access tracks allow exit/evacuation; Swiss alpine rescue via 144 (medical) / 1414 (Rega air rescue). (est)
