Whether everyone in your group gets a day at Bike Park Ireland - the grades on offer, the named zones, and how mixed abilities split up.
Green, Blue, Red, Black (UK/Euro). Park notes its colours are more technical than a trail centre's - a park Green approx a trail-centre Blue, and so on.
GROUP SPLIT - beginners on Green 2 km descent + Blue teaser + pump track; advanced on Blue Jumps, Red Jumps, Black 1/2/3 (road gap). LIFT/SHUTTLE UPLIFT: army-truck shuttle (30 seats + bike trailer) to the top every 15-20 min; the whole group shares the uplift.
Excellent for mixed-ability groups and families (from age 6+ on Green, 8+ on Enduro Climb); pump track all levels. Uplift removes climbing so beginners and experts share the lift day.
Forested hillside. Green is hardcore gravel throughout; jump trails are smooth built dirt with berms/tables; black trails are natural singletrack with roots, rock gardens and drops.
Purpose-built gravity trails - berms, table tops, rollers, drops, rock gardens, off-camber roots; Black 3 has a road-gap jump. Green/Blue Jumps roll at low speed; Red/Black best on full-suspension/DH bikes. Low altitude, low natural exposure.
Fully signed park with a trail map; graded and marshalled. Easy to navigate.
Busy on weekends and school holidays (markets itself as Ireland's No.1 MTB park/uplift); quieter on booked midweek days.
Open every Saturday and Sunday (office Tue-Sun); midweek by group booking. Uplift 10:00-17:00, Apr-Oct. Trails billed as all-weather.
Uplift season April to end of October; trails open year-round at weekends (all-weather graded), but gravity uplift is seasonal.
Christmas gift vouchers; skills coaching/packages; pump-track sessions; camping and self-catering cottage stays on site.
Irish weather - rain and mud common (trails built to drain and ride wet). No altitude/avalanche risk; cold/wet exposure the main concern.
Park entry bundled with uplift. Full-day uplift EUR 40 (EUR 37 online), half-day EUR 30 (EUR 27 online); pay-per-trip tokens EUR 3 each. Bike-hire packs available. No lottery.
Permits and operators change - confirm before booking.

None required; skills coaching and lessons available. Marshalled park.
Short marshalled trails with uplift-road access throughout; staff on site; emergency 112/999; bail-outs via the uplift road.
