The riding
Mix of dirt, dust and stones with berms, tables, wooden ramps, drops and wallrides; modern machine and hand-built lines.
Black lines feature high jumps, steep berms, rock fields, drops, wallrides and a bag jump; marked chickenways (blue chicken) bypass hard features.
Signposted lift-served park with trail map and gondola uplift; difficulty-color markings and chickenway signage.
Popular and busy on weekends given easy rail access from Vienna.

Getting there & gear
Lift ticket required: day pass approx EUR 34 adult / 29.50 youth / 19 child; half-day and season passes available.
Permits and operators change - confirm before booking.
Valley station at Semmering; ÖBB Semmering railway station nearby, approx 1.5 h by train from Vienna.
8-person gondola uplifts bikes and mountain carts to the central start; reachable car-free by ÖBB train.
Full-face helmet and protectors recommended for gravity lines; mobile coverage generally good near the resort.

Hazards & rescue
